Botev (Ikhtiman) beat Slavia II 4:3 in Sofia and worsened the position of the “Whites” in the standings, sending them among the relegated teams. It happened in a match of the 17th round of the South-West Third League. Grigor Dolapchiev scored a hat trick for Botev’s success, and the fourth goal came after an own goal by a player from Slavia.
The match started evenly, but Slavia opened the scoring after a mistake in the visitors’ defense. By the break, Grigor Dolapchiev received an excellent ball and beat the goalkeeper of the “Whites” to restore the tie.
In the second part, already in the 48th minute, the “whites” scored again and were ahead in the result, but again Dolapchiev restored the tie after being in the right place. The third goal for the home team came after a mistake by Botev in the center of the field, and even the goalkeeper Filip Dimitrov, who made several excellent saves, could not prevent the third goal in his goal.
Botev did not give up and in the 75th minute Dolapchiev scored again, and the score became 3:3. The visitors did not give up and the weather conditions were with them in this second half as the strong wind was with them. Thus, in the 83rd minute, after a corner kick by Bogomil Hristov, a home player deflected the ball into his own net, and Botev congratulated himself on the victory.
Thus, with an asset of 25 points, the boys of Valeri Svilenov and Hristo Jozhov occupy the 9th place, and on Saturday they host CSKA – Sofia II in Ihtiman. Slavia II is visiting one of the leaders in the Rila Athlete Championship in Samokov.
