The energy exchange in the day-ahead market segment closed at an average base energy price (1-24 hours) of BGN 249.83 per MWh with a delivery date of November 13, 2023 and a volume of 72,455.20 MWh, the data show from trade. This is a growth of 28.9% compared to the value at the close of the previous trade.

The price of peak energy (9-20 hours) is BGN 307.24 per MWh, for a quantity of 36,835.70 MWh.

Off-peak energy (35,619.50 MWh) is priced at BGN 192.42 per MWh (1-8; 21-24 hours).

The exchange started at an average price of BGN 178.49 per MWh and a quantity of 2797 MWh.

The lowest price was reported for 05 hours – BGN 169.16 per MWh (3058.8 MWh).

The highest price of electricity traded in the “day-ahead market” segment was reached in 19 hours – BGN 466.43 per MWh for a quantity of 3133.7 MWh.

In 24 hours, the price of traded electricity in this segment is BGN 69.16 per MWh with a volume of 3415.4 MWh according to https://ibex.bg/ data.

Compared to the value of BGN 193.86 per MWh (EUR 99.12 per MWh) for November 12, 2023, the price of traded electricity with a delivery date of November 13 increased to BGN 249.83 per MWh (a jump of 28.9%) according to BNEB data or 127.74 euros per MWh.

When trading in the “intraday” market segment on November 12, 2023, the total traded volume of BNEB at the time of publication of the information was 1,962.10 MWh at a weighted average daily price of BGN 181.44 per MWh.
