After the long wandering, the match from the European qualifiers between Bulgaria and Hungary will still be played at the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium, but without an audience.

• The center of Sofia will be partially blocked today due to a protest against the leadership of the Bulgarian Football Union.

The fans will express their displeasure at 17.00, two hours before the start of the match. 1,600 police officers will guard the area around the Vasil Levski national stadium before, during and after the match.

Against the background of this tense situation, today Ilian Iliev will make his official debut at the head of our representative team.

In the first match between the two teams in March of this year in Budapest, the “Magyars” achieved a decisive home success with 3:0.

The match starts at 19:00 and will be broadcast LIVE on BNT 1, BNT 3 and on bntsport.bg! Our studio program starts 30 minutes early. BNT reporters will also follow all the events leading up to the match.
