Alexander Dunchev: The EC has filed a lawsuit against Bulgaria because of the forest substitutes

European Commission /EC/ filed a few days ago legal action against Bulgaria because the forest pronouns. This was announced on the Facebook social network by the environmentalist and former member of parliament Alexander Dunchev.

“In fact, we warned about this risk as early as 2020-2021, when we revealed how the state fraudulently underestimated the amount of illegal state aid for replacements from BGN 1 billion to BGN 80 million, how a subsidiary company of the Ministry of Health helped with this, and how in court with more false market valuations, these BGN 80 million melted down to several million, which the National Revenue Agency will eventually write off as uncollectible”Alexander Dunchev was also categorical.

He pointed out that precisely these arguments are presented in the European Commission’s lawsuit against Bulgaria. It also states that the deadline for implementing the Brussels decision of 2014 was one year and was not met. Here is what else Dunchev said on this occasion:

“The state is going crazy 9 and is trying to lie to the Europeans, just as it lies to the Bulgarian people every day. We tried with good. We tried with a letter. We helped with both analysis and data. We offered both ideas and expertise. And it doesn’t work. And not a state. Hopefully they will now come to their senses, as yesterday we joined forces with the KZHG in defense of the Forest Law against the claim of the substitutes in the Constitutional Court. By the way, do you now understand why they brought the case to this court – to protect their ownership of the stolen property, before the EC condemned us to have their replacements removed.”

“We literally have weeks before the case and a month or two before we get sentenced. Yes, we will pay the EC millions. Asen will take out another loan, so who’s counting…
But nature – these unique beaches, dunes and forests that they stole from all of us – we will have to protect them ourselves, and fight to the last!”Alexander Dunchev also emphasized.
