CSKA recorded their fourth win of the season in the Bulgarian Women’s Volleyball Championship after a hard-fought five-game home run at Maritsa 2022.
In the “Vasil Simov” hall, the “reds” met serious resistance, but still showed character to reach the final success with 3:2 (25:16, 20:25, 27:25, 22:25, 15:12) game.
The match went through ebbs and flows, as the women from the capital city alternated strong performances with wavering ones.
In the end, in the decisive tiebreak, Yulia Ivanova-Mincheva’s volleyball players were more cool-headed and managed to break the resistance of their opponent.
With the success, CSKA collected 9 points and with a balance of 4-1 occupies the second place in the ranking, while Maritsa 2022 is in the fifth position with an asset of 7 points and a balance of 3-2.
The fifth round of the women’s NVL continues on Saturday (November 18) with the match Hector – Levski, while on Sunday (November 19) Varna DCS welcomes Slavia, and in the match of the round, the champion Maritsa Plovdiv visits Deya Sport, as the battle from Burgas will be able to watch LIVE on BNT 3 from 18:55.
