Citizens come out to protest against bad governance of the capital hospital ISUL. The demonstration will take place from 18:00 to 20:00 on Monday before the Ministry of Health.
The protest is against the inhumane conditions in pediatric oncohematology, which is currently under the management of ISUL Hospital. The organizers of the demonstration are danaya foundation.
From there they indicated that the conditions they really are too bad and getting worse, since this medical institution is responsible for the structure. The parents are adamant that serious changes must take place in oncohematology because of the current situation crossed all boundaries.
A mother, who is currently lying in the health facility with her child, commented:
“I came in with a basin, a jug for hot water and disposable utensils (because you can’t wash a fork with cold water). The children vomit from the chemicals, they pee all the time because they pour three liters of solution into them and you can’t wash them. Then sores, wounds… This is so humiliating…”
The protest in front of the Ministry of Health on Monday is also supported by Unity Party.
