“How is it that because of this empty oil and apparently this money, the government is ready to fall, to gather with the supposedly opposition parties? Nor do we have to divide Lukoil – it is a private company directly subordinate to the Kremlin and the money goes there.”
This is what GERB leader Boyko Borisov commented on the derogation. “We support the cabinet if it does the right things and good things for the people,” he added.
Asked if the GERB-SDS would enter the plenary hall to ensure a quorum for the vote of no confidence, he said:
“We are not a party that provides a quorum. We do not provide a quorum to those who decided to bring down the government, to give it up, just for the sake of oil.”
In his words, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov should not resign, as PP-DB co-chairman Kiril Petkov requested.
“The sports minister must resign immediately. Terziev, who allowed football hooligans and agitators to gather. How are you going to gather agitators who have been at odds for decades for a peaceful protest, people,” he asked.
“When Sofia is burning, I receive an email from Vasil Terziev inviting me to a meeting – why, are you scared,” the GERB leader pointed out, specifying that the email was received at 7:30 p.m.
