The settlement was announced in a statement by a lawyer for the singer, whose real name is Cassandra Ventura. The statement said the two sides reached a mutually beneficial settlement last night. No further details have been released.

It was previously reported that Cassie, 37, had filed a lawsuit against Puff Daddy (as one of his older monikers) (54) in New York federal court, alleging that Coomes involved in his “flashy, fast-paced, drug-fuelled lifestyle” soon after she met him and signed to his label when she was 19 and he was 37 in 2005. Coomes vehemently denies the allegations , said his lawyer, quoted by BTA.
