The Minister of Regional Development Andrey Tsekov has made a change in the leadership of the Road Infrastructure Agency. Eng. Yordan Valchev becomes a member of the Management Board of API in the place of Eng. Kaloyan Kirov.
Tsekov’s office points out that the reshuffle aims to strengthen the expert base and optimize the work of the Road Agency.
Engineer Valchev has over 22 years of experience in the design of roads, bridges and intersections in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as 15 years of experience in the construction supervision of large objects of the road infrastructure in Bulgaria and abroad, according to the MRRD.
Engineer Valchev also worked on the construction supervision of sections of the Mezdra – Botevgrad expressway, the Struma, Hemus and Trakia highways, the Western arc of the Sofia Ring Road, the construction of the Revival Park in Sofia, etc.
He has over 10 years of experience in urban transport modeling and road safety.
He is an engineer from the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy, majoring in Road Construction. He is a graduate in “Road Traffic Safety”.
The press release from MRRD states that Minister Andrey Tsekov thanked Engineer Kirov “for the invested energy and efforts”.
