Given the high expectations for “Napoleon”, it would not be an exaggeration to say that its release is one of the biggest film events of this year. So it’s no surprise that the British premiere of Sir Ridley Scott’s biopic, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby, brought together many important guests. And more precisely – personal.

Curiously, Joaquin Phoenix wasn’t the only Napoleon to walk the red carpet. Besides him and his Hollywood colleagues, the event was also honored by Jean-Christophe (Prince Napoleon), who is the great-great-nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte, accompanied by his wife Olympia (Princess Napoleon). The woman in the life of the living descendant of the French emperor is also known to be of royal descent, being the great-great-great-granddaughter of Ludwig III of Bavaria.

As we can guess, the young Jean-Christophe Napoleon Bonaparte had an impressive education and career. After graduating from Harvard Business School, he worked as a financial analyst for companies such as Morgan Stanley, and in 2022 he co-founded the private investment company Leon Capital.

The British premiere of Napoleon was, of course, attended by director Sir Ridley Scott, as well as Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby, who are in the lead roles.

“Napoleon” hits theaters this Friday, November 24, and is already garnering positive reviews from critics. Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian, for example, gives it five out of five stars, and Tatler calls it “a complex portrait of the legendary emperor”.
