The youth national team of Bulgaria under 19 plays at 1:2 in Andorra in a decisive match for qualifying for the elite round for Euro 2024.
The match did not start well for our team and Alex Bozhev had to intervene in the 4th minute.
Preslav Bachev attempted a shot from about 30 meters in the 39th minute, and a few minutes later we took the lead. After a scramble at a corner kick in the 43rd minute, the ball was cleared, but again reached Mihail Tsonev. He crossed and found Martin Georgiev, who made it 1:0 with a header.
Minutes after the break, Andorra managed to equalize. Bora Font was forgotten on the second post and took advantage of a good pass to register (1:1).
Just a few minutes later, Kristian Balov received a red card after deliberately kicking an opposing player.
The bad news did not stop and in the 65th minute Andorra made a comeback – 2:1 with a goal by Alex Molins.
Ours have drawn 0-0 with Scotland and Serbia in their first two qualifying group matches and a possible convincing win will see the team out of the group. So far, the three teams have 4 points each.
