Eighth-graders left messages against violence after the initiative “Talk to a friend” in Gorna Oryahovitsa : RegNews.NET

Eighth-graders from PZHPT “N. Y. Vaptsarov”, PGLPI “Atanas Burov”, PTG “Vasil Levski” and SU “Vicho Gruncharov” participated in the initiative “Talk with a friend”, organized by the Youth Home in partnership with the Directorate “Social Assistance” and Association “Center Maria” in Gorna Oryahovitsa on the occasion of November 19 – the World Day for the fight against violence against children.

The eighth-graders watched the Norwegian film “The Angry Man” and discussed the roles of the characters and their actions, learned about the main forms of violence, the work of the psychologist and the social worker. The discussion was attended by Vera Boneva – a psychologist in the “Child Protection” Department, Nastya Lyubenova – a social worker in the “Child Protection” Department and Ludmila Tsvetanova – manager of the Association “Maria Center”.

Eng. Petya Bogdanova – Director of the Municipal Enterprise “Youth Activities, Sports Properties and Events”, Silvia Vasileva – Senior Expert “Culture and Youth Policies”, Pasha Dimitrova – Senior Specialist “Education and Culture” and Ivelina Varbanova – Specialist took part in the event. “Education” in Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality.

For the finale, everyone together left their messages against violence in all its forms.
