Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei thanked the country’s armed forces for the attack on Israel on the night of April 14, when Tehran attacked Israeli territory with over three hundred drones and missiles, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported, quoted by BTA.

Khamenei said the main question was how Iran demonstrated its power in the attack on Israel, not how many missiles were fired or hit the targets they were aimed at.

He called on Iran’s armed forces to “continually pursue innovation in the military industry” and study “enemy tactics.”

On the night of April 19, world agencies reported that Israel carried out an alleged retaliatory attack on a target in Iran. On this day, Khamenei turned 85 years old.
