The youngster dealt with Kamavinga and then tried to finish, but from a very narrow angle he failed to beat the home keeper, who saved. Shortly after, Lucas Vazquez burst into the Catalans’ box, then tackled Kubarsi by changing direction. However, Andrii Lunin shot, but the ball ended up at the feet of Fermin Lopez, who immediately put it into the net for 2:1. Three minutes later, Vinicius found Lucas Vázquez, who came on wonderfully, and with a powerful shot he equalized for 2:2.
Vinicius had a great opportunity in the 78th minute when he came face to face with the Catalans’ German keeper. The Brazilian was slow with the finishing shot, and eventually looked for the near corner where Ter Stegen was. In the first minute of added time, Lucas Vazquez sent a sharp pass down the ground that Joselu missed. However, the ball reached the free Bellingham at the far post, who shot Ter Stegen for the final 3:2.
After the success, Real Madrid have 81 points at the top and 11 more than Barcelona, with six rounds remaining in the season.
