Real Madrid beat Barcelona with 3:2 in a match of the 32nd round of La Liga. The Catalans took the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Andreas Christensen. However, Vinicius equalized in the 18th minute from a penalty. So the first half ended in a draw.

Fermin López gave the Catalans another lead, but Lucas Vázquez equalized shortly after. In extra time, Jude Bellingham scored the final score and brought the three points to Los Blancos. So Madrid are very close to the title in Spain, as they have 11 points ahead of Barca.

The match started at a high speed, first Vinicius tried a shot from distance, which was blocked. In the 4th minute, Christensen shot at the home team’s goal, but his performance was poor and the ball flew high over the goal.

Two minutes later, the Dane rose in the air to head a cross at the far post. Christensen’s shot went past the advancing Lunin and into the Los Blancos net.

In the 8th minute, Luka Modric found Vinicius around the penalty spot in Barca’s penalty area. The Brazilian immediately shoots, but inaccurately.

Six minutes later, Yamal made an excellent breakthrough in the Madrid penalty area. The youngster dealt with Kamavinga and then tried to finish, but from a very narrow angle he failed to beat the home keeper, who saved.

Lucas Vazquez burst into the Catalans’ penalty area, then dealt with Kubarci by changing direction. The Real Madrid player tripped and fell to the ground and Soto Grado awarded a penalty. Vinicius executed right from the penalty spot and equalized for 1:1 in the 18th minute.

In the 34th minute, Rafinha fired in a free-kick after Lamin Yamal was fouled by Kamavinga on the edge of the penalty area. However, Rafinha’s shot missed the target.

In the 42nd minute, Rodrigo broke dangerously from the right. The Brazilian then laid a cross to Luka Modric, but he was unable to shoot as he was overtaken by Frenkie de Jong, who made a key intervention.

The second half began with an attack by Barça, which went through Yamal on the right. He created new problems for Kamavinga, and in the end he made a shot from the edge of the penalty area, which, however, landed in the middle of the opponent’s goal and was not a problem for Lunin.

In the 55th minute, Modric sent a lead pass to Vinicius. The Brazilian took over and advanced until he was pressed by two defenders from the visitors. In the end, the footballer of the “royal club” shot, but wide of Ter Stegen’s goal.

Ten minutes later the home side had claims for a penalty after Vinicius’ cross met Jules Kunde’s body. Play was allowed to continue and Barca made a good counter attack which was finished off by Ferran Torres. However, the player who entered from the bench was unable to send the ball into Lunin’s goal. Then an ambush signal sounded.

In the 69th minute, Yamal shot with his left foot from the edge of the penalty area, and the ball tried to deflect Ferran, but failed. However, Andrii Lunin shot, but the ball ended up at the feet of Fermin Lopez, who immediately put it into the net for 2:1.

Three minutes later, Vinicius found the superbly involved Lucas Vazquez, who flicked the ball past Ter Stegen to equalize again.

Vinicius had a great opportunity in the 78th minute when he came face to face with the Catalans’ German keeper. The Brazilian was slow with the finishing shot, and eventually looked for the near corner where Ter Stegen was.

In stoppage time, Lucas Vazquez sent a sharp pass down the ground that Joselu missed. However, the ball reached the free Bellingham at the far post, who sent the ball into the net for 3:2.
