The Milwaukee Bucks got off to a winning start in the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs after prevailing 109-94 against the Indiana Pacers in the first game between the two teams in the first round of the Eastern playoffs.
At the Fiserv Forum in the state of Wisconsin, the hosts took the first quarter with 30:21. In the next 12 minutes, the “deer” continued to accumulate their lead, which became 27 points by halftime. However, Indiana did not give up and in the third quarter made up for more than half of its deficit. In the last quarter of the game, however, Milwaukee did not give the guests a chance to turn around and calmly closed the game with a 15-point difference.
For Milwaukee, the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo remained out of the rotation for the game, and in his absence, Damian Lillard scored 35 points, to which he added 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 38 minutes on the floor, and Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis recorded a double-double.
On the other side, Pascal Siakam was the most useful for the Pacers, scoring 36 points and adding 13 rebounds and 2 assists in 40 minutes on the floor.
The second game of the series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers will again be in the “deer” hall, and it will be on Wednesday (April 24), at 03:30 Bulgarian time.
