Paris Saint-Germain continued their march to the Ligue 1 title with a 4-1 win at home to Lyon, with all the goals coming in a thrilling first half.
The Parisians have collected an asset of 66 points at the top of the standings, 11 ahead of second-placed Monaco with five games to go before the end of the season, while Lyon are eighth on 41 points.
Paris Saint-Germain scored twice in the first six minutes as Lyon’s Nemanja Matic first headed the ball into his own net in the 3rd minute before Lucas Beraldo doubled the home team’s lead.
Gonzalo Ramos headed in the home side’s third goal in the 32nd minute before Ernest Nuama pulled one back for Lyon five minutes later with a well-taken strike from the edge of the box. Ramos scored his second goal three minutes before the break when he found himself uncovered in the penalty to make it 4:1.
Both teams created chances in the second half, but neither managed to add more goals to their tally.
Lyon will have a chance for revenge when the two sides face each other in the Coupe de France final on May 25.
