Historic! For the first time someone between Inter and Milan defeated the enemy and won the title (VIDEO)

--

Inter became champion of Italy for the 20th time! Simone Inzaghi’s alumni defeated city rivals Milan as a token guest 2-1 in the 33rd round. Thus, the Nerazzurri managed to secure the Calcio trophy five rounds before the end of the season.

Francesco Acherbi (18′) and Marcus Thuram (49′) became heroes for the champions. The Frenchman made it so that the meeting was played out after the break. Earlier, World Cup 22 final rivals Martinez and Thuram each wasted a clear chance to swell the score, while Rafael Leao also had a good chance. The honorable goal for the symbolic visitors was the work of Fikayo Tomori in the 81st minute.

Although there had already been 222 meetings between the teams in the previous decades – the Milan derby was played for the first time on Monday and it was won by the symbolic guest. This was Inter’s sixth win in a row over Milan, and in the fall the Rossoneri were defeated 5:1. Thuram scored in both derbies of the season, and the other top scorer on Monday, Acherbi, is a former AC Milan player.

Red cards were also shown in added time to Denzel Dumfries and Theo Hernandez, who were involved in a melee. There was such a thing at the beginning of the meeting, but without sanctions. Shortly after the defenders were sent off, Calabria was shown a red card for a tackle without the ball.

With the success on Monday night, Inter collected 86 points and became unattainable at the top during the season. Second Milan has seventeen points less.

First half

As early as the eighth minute, a melee between the rivals took place after Barela was tripped by Theo Hernandez. The situation in question heated up the situation and the football players of the giants fought with each other.

GOAL! The former player of Milan and one of the most experienced among Inter – Francesco Acherbi, opened in 18′. The central defender headed the ball in from a corner kick. 0:1!

This is the eighth consecutive derby between the teams in which Inter scored the first goal. We remind you that the “snake” won the five previous meetings in question.

After half an hour of play, Lautaro Martinez missed to lead his team-mates to 2:0. The Argentine made a terrible miss with an empty goal and became a “victim” of Valery Bozhinov’s analysis!

Milan failed to punish the miss through their big star Rafael Leao. The Portuguese found himself in a shooting position, but Sommer managed.

In the first part, Thuram also had a chance to finish a clear goal position, but the Frenchman was beset by the fate of Leao and did not even find the outline of the goal.

Second half-time

GOAL! A second blow to the ambitions of the symbolic hosts was delivered in the 49th minute. The Frenchman was brought into a shooting position from distance, but was initially stopped.

Thuram stayed with the ball at his feet and fired between two Rossoneri in the near corner to set up 0:2!

GOAL! In the 80′, the symbolic home team managed to bring back the tension in the stands and on the field through Tomori’s goal! The centre-back took advantage of a shuffle and ricochet at the right-hand post to slot the ball into Sommer’s goal – 1:2!

In the five-minute added time, there was also a melee between the players of the eternal rivals. The match started with similar views, but this time red cards were shown to Theo Hernandez and Denzel Dumfries.

Calabria was also shown a red card for a kick without the ball before one final corner was taken.
