Ukraine can urgently receive 4 Patriot batteries through a transfer scheme with guarantees from the US

Negotiations are underway to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot systems, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

“Our task as foreign ministers is to prepare solutions. And now it is already in the process of development – I said three last week, and today was my last conversation, and I understand that we already have 4 concrete batteries, if we are talking about Patriot. There are negotiations between us and the respective countries and the USA,” Kuleba said on the air of the national telethon, quoted by Glavred.

At the same time, he emphasized that he repeatedly told partners and colleagues that “he no longer has the strength to participate only in negotiations” and decisions need to be made.

“Everything is clear to everyone, now our task is to speed up the adoption of decisions. And these decisions will happen – I have no doubt about it. This is a positive result for Ukraine,” assured the minister.

Kuleba recalled that the Ukrainian president had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart and the topic of air defense was the main one. “Decisions at the level of leaders will be made. Our task is to speed up their adoption as much as possible,” emphasizes the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
