Jamal Murray scored a decisive basket and the host Denver Nuggets overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 101-99. In doing so, the defending champion Nuggets extended their first-round lead in the NBA Western Conference playoff series to 2-0.

LeBron James made a dunk to put Los Angeles up 95-92, but Michael Porter Jr. tied the game with a 3-pointer with 1:15 left before Murray took over. He stayed against Anthony Davies, went right and fired a pull-back as time expired to give his team the incredible victory. Jamal finished with 20 points on 9-of-24 shooting and Nikola Jokic had 27 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists for the Nuggets, who have swept the Lakers in 10 straight.

Anthony Davis had 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers, but scored just two points in the final 22 minutes. LeBron James finished with 26 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds.
