The case for the death of 24-year-old Anna-Maria Malcheva and her fiance, 22-year-old Yavor Stoyanov, is already in court. This happens almost a year after the tragedy on the capital’s Slivnitsa Boulevard, when the two were hit and killed by a car driven by 18-year-old Adrian Antonov.

The young man will be liable for causing death by carelessness – on a footpath and driving a motor vehicle at more than twice the speed limit.

The Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office informs that the accusation is proven by witness statements, inspection of the scene of the accident, material evidence, 11 expertises and other written evidence and references.

The Sofia City Court is about to schedule a hearing on the case.
