Two men from Dobrich have been brought to court for a murder committed with extreme cruelty on a street in the city. The investigation into the case was started on October 21, 2022, after the victim, a 52-year-old man, was found in a helpless state, and subsequently died in the general hospital. The 23- and 30-year-olds are charged with the serious crime.
From the forensic medical examination appointed after the crime, it is clear that the man was the victim of a beating, and his injuries were mainly on the head, informed the District Prosecutor’s Office in Dobrich. The investigation established that on the night of the murder, the detained men were intoxicated and accidentally met the deceased man on a street in Dobrich. A scandal broke out between them, which turned into a brutal beating.
The case against the two defendants is scheduled to be heard in the Dobrich District Court. If convicted, they could face “imprisonment” for 15 to 20 years, life in prison, or life in prison without parole.
