Over 9% lead for GERB-SDS and contested battle for second place in today’s elections

--

Over 9% is the lead of GERB-SDS over PP-DB before the upcoming elections. This is shown by a survey by Trend agency, conducted among 1,002 people in the period April 12-19.

The agency notes that, despite the month saturated with political events, no serious change in electoral attitudes is reported.

The negotiations about the rotation and the accusations surrounding the “Customs” Agency are probably the reason for the erosion of support for “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” with just over 2% of the voters. GERB-SDS maintained its levels from the last months – 24.9%.

PP-DB (15.5%), DPS (14.4%) and “Vazrazhdane” (14.2%) have similar values and their performance in the upcoming election campaign will be key to the final arrangement of the second, third and fourth places.

Almost half of the respondents – 49% intend to vote the early parliamentary elections. That’s about 2.6 to 2.8 million voters.

The electoral picture in the European elections is similar. Among them, “Trend” reports a slightly higher mobilization for the PP-DB up to 16.1% and a minimal difference in the negative direction for the BSP (8.7%).

Only 11% of Bulgarians have a positive attitude towards the changes in the Constitution in the part related to the official office.
