With various initiatives around the world, today – April 24, the World Day for the Protection of Laboratory Animals is celebrated. The method for their scientific study is known as vivisection and has been denounced as humanity’s greatest cruelty to animals.
Vivisection is a form of scientific experimentation supported by the largest companies and industries in the world.
At the time of these trials, millions of animals die each year and are sacrificed to prove the safety of cosmetics and drugs.

These products are most often tested on rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, rats and dogs.
Experiments are conducted with toxicological products, and even if they end up being safe for humans, due to the different biochemistry with the animals, the experimental mice often suffer from dizziness and blindness afterwards.
Animal advocates are calling for a whole new approach to medicine to end vivisection. According to their data, animals are increasingly used in the study of cancer and AIDS.
