Juventus survived at the Olimpico and will play in the final of the Coppa Italia – Football World – Italy

Juventus qualified for the Coppa Italia final despite losing 2-1 to Lazio at the Olimpico in the second leg of the tournament’s semi-finals. Tati Kastejanos scored two goals for the “Roman Eagles” in the 12th and 49th minutes, and Arkadiusz Milik scored for the “Bianconeri” in the 83rd minute. Thus, after a 2-0 success in the first meeting, the “old lady” secured a place in the final.

The Turin giants will argue with Atalanta or Fiorentina for the trophy this season.

The first good opportunity opened up for Juventus in the 8th minute. Andrea Cambiazzo controlled the penalty area for the home team and sent a dangerous shot that went wide of the goal.

The Eagles took the lead with their first good scoring opportunity. In the 12th minute, Luis Alberto crossed from a corner, and Tati Casteianos jumped over Alex Sandro and headed the ball into the goal for 1:0.

In the 22nd minute, Dusan Vlahovic received from Filip Kostic in the penalty area. The Serbian striker failed to make good contact with the ball, but did take a shot but Christos Mantas kicked it wide. Ten minutes later, Bremer headed in a cross from Kostic’s corner, but sent the ball over the goal.

In the 33rd minute, the “Eagles” organized a dangerous attack through the center. Luis Alberto advanced with the ball and took a shot that was blocked by Bremer.

A minute before the end of the first half, Lazio got a golden chance to put the score on aggregate. Tati Kastejanos received a pass behind the defense and found himself alone against the goalkeeper. The Argentinian controlled the ball, but Mattia Perin was able to shorten the corner and knock out the home striker’s shot with his foot.

The second half got off to a great start for Lazio. In the 49th minute, Felipe Andersson passed to Luis Alberto, and the Spaniard launched a lead pass to Tati Castejanos. The Argentine dealt with Bremer and with a cool-headed shot scored for 2:0 and equalized the total score.

After the goal, the Bianconeri took a bolder look at Mandas’ goal. In the 55th minute, West McKenney sent a parallel pass into the penalty area which also beat the keeper, but Adam Marusic got past Dusan Vlahovic, who could have scored an empty net. Shortly after, the Serb’s shot went wide.

In the 78th minute, Luis Alberto tried to surprise Perin with a shot from a long distance, but the guard had no difficulty and caught it.

Five minutes later, Juventus regained the advantage on aggregate. Arkadiusz Milik, who entered seconds ago, was able to register. Timothy Weah controlled a cross from the left and launched a sharp pass on the ground, which the Pole was able to intercept and send the ball into the goal from 3-4 meters.
