after a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide was refused with the absolutely unfounded claim that it was not a round anniversary. That is why I am now returning to the hall to talk with the representatives of the BSP and “There is such a people” so that we can submit a request for the resignation of Rosen Zhelyazkov today, to be voted on tomorrow,” Kostadinov added.

“They are preparing a coalition for after the elections.

The fact is that Zhelyazkov did this, although he knew what the reactions would be – both public and political. This is indicative of GERB’s heavy dependence on DPS”, added Kostadinov.

SafeNews recalls that earlier, from the parliamentary rostrum, Vazrazhdane requested a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, but GERB-SDS, DPS and “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) refused because the anniversary is not round, he said in declaration Kostadin Kostadinov.
Kostadinov commented that “today the National Assembly should have started its session with a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. 109 years ago, a genocide took place and the majority of the Armenian people were massacred, slaughtered, mercilessly by the Ottoman Empire, noted Kostadinov. “That’s why we proposed that there be a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the first and largest genocide in the history of mankind. However, this did not happen, because according to the majority of GERB, DPS and PP-DB, the anniversary was not round. We condemn any form of genocide. However, it is strange that this National Assembly under the pressure of DPS, who are missing here in the hall, the hall right now here in the middle is empty, because we have a party that serves the interests of Erdogan. The fact that the DPS are not here is a statement, a statement that is much stronger than a thousand declarations in a hall.”
