The new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) was signed today in “Pirogov”. According to the set parameters, the Salary Fund increases for doctors by 7%, and for health care specialists (nurses, medical laboratory assistants, medical rehabilitators, physiotherapists, etc.) and orderlies by 12%.
The contract, which enters into force on May 1, 2024, was signed by the executive director of the hospital, Dr. Valentin Dimitrov, and the chairmen of the Pirogov sections of the three trade unions: KNSB, KT “Support” and “Defense”.
The executive director of the “Pirogov” University Hospital, Dr. Valentin Dimitrov, pointed out that with the signing of the new collective labor agreement, the improved basic labor remunerations compared to the previous KTD are upgraded.
The representatives of the trade union organizations pointed out that the requirements under the NRD are currently met, and with the new KTD they are exceeded. Thus, the main salaries in “Pirogov” are separated from the above average positions in the healthcare sector and occupy one of the leading places. According to them, this KTD brings even more stability and provides a basis for the development of wages with good financial results of the hospital. They thank the hospital management for taking these steps without any legal obligation.
The money for the increase in the basic wages will not have a negative impact on the settlement with the suppliers and covering the remaining obligations of the medical facility.
