The energy exchange within trading in the “day-ahead market” segment closed at an average base energy price (1-24 hours) of BGN 180.74 per MWh with a delivery date of April 25, 2024 and a volume of 72,758.60 MWh, the data show from trade. This is an increase of 11.0 % from the closing value of the previous trade.

The price of peak energy (9-20 hours) is BGN 178.15 per MWh, for a quantity of 38,650.90 MWh.

Off-peak energy (34,107.70 MWh) is priced at BGN 183.33 per MWh (1-8; 21-24 hours).

In 24 hours, the price of traded electricity in this segment is BGN 155.96 per MWh with a volume of 2569.1 MWh, according to data at https://ibex.bg/.

Compared to the value of BGN 162.79 per MWh (83.23 euros per MWh) for April 24, the price of traded electricity with a delivery date of April 25, 2024 increased to BGN 180.74 per MWh (a jump of 11%) according to BNEB data or 92.41 euro per MWh.

When trading in the “intraday” market segment on April 24, 2024, the total traded volume of BNEB at the time of publication of the information was 5,183.70 MWh at a weighted average daily price of BGN 177.55 per MWh.
