The leader of “Izpravi se.Bg” Maya Manolova explained on Facebook why she will appear in the elections together with Vanya Grigorova, municipal councilor in Sofia, elected on the list of the BSP.
Here is what Manolova wrote on the social network:
Why am I going to the elections with Vanya Grigorova?
Because Vanya is a fighter. We are both fighters.
Because she, as a trade unionist, and I, as an ombudsman and chairman of Stand Up.BG, wholeheartedly protect the rights of working people – miners, transport workers, nurses, seamstresses…
Because both she and I are fighting against the monopolies, against the powerful of the day.
Because supposedly “big” political men brought Bulgaria to five elections in three years. Assembly, disassembly, mud fights for power and money, servitude to oligarchs and embassies.
Ordinary people need real protection in Parliament.
We appear as a “Solidary Bulgaria” coalition. This will be the coalition that will protect ordinary working people. And it will be the only one behind which there are no party interests, economic circles or foreign embassies.
Our entry into the parliament for all those who serve foreign economic and other interests is a problem, and this will turn them against us in this company, because for us the interests of ordinary people are leading, and for the assembly – we all became convinced – not.
Solidarna Bulgaria is not a party assembly, it is not an engineering of people with money looking for a party. Both Vanya and I have proven that we don’t kiss a ring, we don’t have masters, and Bulgaria and the people are above everything. Borisov presents himself as the Mother of God, even the “mother of the nation” had put herself up for election. PPDB washed him and Peevski, GERB and DPS came together and… five times elections. For Borisov’s convenience. Vanya and I will not stop reminding him of this. Because it is Bulgaria’s path to timelessness, called the “assembly model – PPDB, Borisov, DPS” and the shamefully weak and meek “opposition”.
It is time to restore the dignity of ordinary people and Bulgaria.
