Manchester City’s top scorer Erling Holland will not take part in the match against Brighton in the 29th round of the Premier League. The Norwegian is nursing a muscle injury he picked up in last week’s Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
“Erling Holland is not ready for tomorrow. It’s not a big problem, but he won’t be able to play tomorrow. The other two injured Phil Foden and John Stones will be in the group,” revealed City manager Josep Guardiola at the pre-match press conference.
“Every player deserves to play. Everyone has their starting line-up or favorite players, but everyone contributes in their own way,” he added. Manchester City are third in the English Premier League standings with 73 points from 32 games.
