The 52nd edition of the National Contest for Debut Literature “South Spring” opens today. At 6 p.m., the “South Spring” fire will be lit by Ivan Landzhev, winner of the “Pegasus” award for 2011.
In addition to Ivan Landzhev, the Haskovo audience will also have the opportunity to meet Georgi Milkov with “Stories from Hand Luggage” and Zahari Karabashliev with his “Rana”.
30 authors are participating in the competition this year. 21 are the debutants in the “Poetry” genre, 7 are the books in “Prose”, in the “Children’s Literature” and “Literary Criticism and Literary History” genres, one author each participates, and this year there are no participants in “Film Script” and “Dramaturgy” .
