Lokomotiv won the city derby against Botev in the doubles 2-0 in a postponed match of the postponed game of the 28th round of the South-Eastern Group B, which was played at the central pitch of Lauta. Thus, for the second time in the season, the black and whites outplayed the canaries. The hero of today’s match was Petar Andreev, who scored both goals for the hosts.

Right from the start, the hosts imposed total superiority and only the excellent performances of goalkeeper Denis Rusev kept his net dry in the first half hour. In the 33rd minute, however, Andreev opened with a header from a cross from the left.

At the end of the half, Loko goalkeeper Daniel Ambartsumyan made a great save to prevent an equaliser.

The second half started evenly, but in the 53rd minute Ivo Kazakov from the Botev team was sent off with a straight red card for rough play.

10 minutes later, the home team scored a second goal, which was a copy of the first goal. A cross towards the penalty area found the uncovered Petar Andreev, who took control and scored his second goal from the small penalty area – 2:0.

Another chance followed for the “black and whites”, but a dangerous diagonal shot did not find the target. In the 80th minute, the “yellow and black” had two opportunities to score, but both were missed.

In the 83rd minute, the crossbar saved the Canaries after a shot on the ground by Ivan Mihailov. Seconds later, Emil Naydenov from Botev’s team found himself in a good position, but was unable to shoot.
