Ludogorets easily beat Heber 4:0 at home in the first semi-final match of the Bulgarian Cup tournament.

Last season’s trophy winner managed to take the lead in the fourth minute of the match. Francisco Gomes crossed and the ball found its way to Rick Jonathan who opened the scoring with an accurate shot into the visitors’ goal.

Four minutes later, Bernard Tekpetei shot, but his shot was blocked by goalkeeper Petar Deberliev.

In the 22nd minute, the favorite in the tournament reached his second goal. Pedro Naresi, Kwadwo Dua and Jakub Piotrowski combined quickly and the Poland international passed for Jonathan, who scored another goal for Heber.

Five minutes later, Arhan Isuf tried a technical kick, but the ball went out, and shortly after, Sheikh Diamanka’s shot from a clear position missed the target.

Piotrovski’s miss followed, and in the 40th minute, Deberliev blocked an attempt to hit Kwadvo Dua.

In the 55th minute of the match, the “greens” scored a third goal. Todor Nedelev crossed from a corner kick and Pedro Naresi deflected for Dinis Almeida, who also scored from close range for the visiting team.

Ten minutes before the end of regular time, Spas Delev made the final 4:0 with an addition, after Deberliev had deflected a shot by Matias Tissera.

At the very end of the match, Georgi Terziev hit the crossbar of Heber’s goal with his head, who for the first time in his history reached this stage of the tournament.

Ludogorets defeated the same rival away from home with 2:0 in the championship just four days ago.
