Ludogorets defeated Heber 4:0 in the first semi-final of the Sesame Cup of Bulgaria. Residents of Razgrad dominated the opponent and left no doubt about their superiority.

The goals for the convincing success were scored by Rick Jonathan, Dinish Almeida and Spas Delev, with the former scoring twice.

Thus, the rematch in Pazardzhik next week on Thursday of “Georgi Benkovski” will be protocol. Georgi Dermendzhiev’s footballers can quite easily direct their thoughts to the final on May 15, as by then they will in all probability have secured their 13th consecutive efbet League title.

Ludogorets entered the match as an absolute favorite and took the lead in the 4th minute. The home team attacked from the right. Heber’s defense did not deal well with Son’s cross. The ball ended up in Rick Jonathan, who beat Petar Deberliev with a nice ground kick.

A few minutes later the “undertaker” guard had more work to do. Bernard Tekpetei was left alone on the corner of the penalty area. Deberliev was careful and knocked his shot into the corner.

In the 21st minute, the “Eagles” walked around Heber’s penalty area and scored a second goal. Pedro Naresi received from the right and continued to Kwadwo Dua. He with one to Jakub Piotrovski. The Pole immediately set the ball to the feet of Rick, who scored his second goal of the game.

Four minutes later, Heber finally had a good chance. Arhan Isuf broke free from two and attempted a technical but in an out.

In the 27th minute Pazardzhikli made another dangerous attack. Kabov was brought out on the right flank. He got almost to the touchline and cut to Sheikh Diamanka, whose shot from a clean situation went wide. In the counterattack, Jakub Piotrovski came out alone against Deberliev, but shot very inaccurately.

Five minutes before the break, Ludogorets developed a speed attack that ended with a diagonal strike on Dua’s ground. Deberliev kicked.

In the 55th minute, Ludogorets scored a third goal. Todor Nedelev crosses from a corner kick. Pedro Naresi deflected a header to Dinis Almeida, who hit Deberliev’s net from close range. There were suspicions of an offside, but the VAR check confirmed the regularity of the goal.

The match lacked any intrigue. It was clear to everyone that the winner was clear and the final whistle was awaited, as Heber did not have the necessary class. In the 80th minute, Ludogorets went up 4:0. Danny Grouper had too much free space in front of him. He ventured down the flank and launched a pass parallel to the goal line. Tissera intercepted from close range, and Petar Deberliev reacted brilliantly and saved. The goalkeeper had no chances with the subsequent addition of Spas Delev, who scored in an empty net.

In the 87th minute, Kabov dribbled well and moved the game. Levski’s youngster shoots with his left foot from the arc of the penalty area, but it is out.

At the very end of regular time, luck prevented Heber from getting a fifth goal. When crossing from a corner kick, Georgi Terziev was alone at the near post. The defender shoots with a header, but it hits the crossbar. Seconds later, Tekpetei was brought behind Heber’s defense and fired wide. The result 4:0 in favor of the people of Razgrad remained unchanged.
