PSG take theirs against Lorient and await Monaco mistake to clinch title – Football World – France

The team of Paris Saint-Germain easily defeated the team fighting for survival Lorient and touched the title in France. The Parisians prevailed 4-1 away from home and if chasers Monaco fail to win their match against Lille later tonight, Luis Enrique’s side will officially triumph with the title.

In such a set of circumstances, the PSG team will be out of reach at the top of the table with four rounds to go.

Kylian Mape and company turned things in their favor early on in the first half when they scored twice in the space of just three minutes. Ousmane Dembele opened for PSG in the 19th minute after an assist from Seni Mayulu. Three minutes later, Mbappe was able to divert a bit of lucky cross from the left and hit the target to make it 2-0 in favor of the visitors.

Just after the hour, Ousmane Dembele made the score a classic, but what will be remembered in the 60th minute was the unique assist Mbappe gave Dembele. The Frenchman famously overcame a Lorient defender on the touchline before slotting the goal pass to his team-mate.

Bamba managed to reduce Lorient’s deficit with a goal in the 73rd minute, but in the last minute of the match, Mbappe scored his second goal for the final 4:1.
