Today will be mostly cloudy, with showers in most parts of the country. There will be thunderstorms and hail conditions in places during the afternoon hours. Precipitation will be significant in quantity, mainly in the mountainous regions. A moderate northwesterly wind will blow. In Eastern Bulgaria, the wind will be from the south-southwest, along the Black Sea from the southeast, but by the evening it will also be oriented from the northwest. The maximum temperatures will be from 10°-13° in the western regions to 20°-22° in the eastern regions, 11°-12° in Sofia. In the evening from the west-northwest the rain will start to stop and the clouds will break and decrease.
In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy with rain showers, accompanied by thunder in some places. Precipitation will be more significant in the central regions of Stara Planina. Above 2000 m the rain will change to snow. A moderate, strong south-westerly wind will blow in the highest parts, which will gradually shift from the north-west during the day. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be about 9°, at 2000 m – about 3°.
It will be mostly cloudy along the Black Sea. It will rain and thunder in places. A light to moderate wind will blow from the south-east, which will turn from the north-west in the evening. The maximum temperatures will be from 16° on the northern coast to 21° on the southern. The temperature of the sea water is about 13°. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points.
