LIVE: Parliament has gathered a quorum for the second time, they are considering the release of Rosen Zhelyazkov – Politics

Parliament did not gather a quorum the first time to start the session. In 30 minutes, there will be a new registration, announced the Speaker of the National Assembly (NA), Rosen Zhelyazkov.

There were 117 registered deputies, the GERB-SDS and DPS parliamentary groups were not present in the hall.

After the break, GERB entered the plenary hall. Only one of the people’s representatives from Borisov’s party registered. The meeting has a quorum. People’s deputies will vote on 5 points, one of which is the dismissal of Rosen Zhelyazkov as the chairman of the National Assembly. Motion introduced by Kiril Petkov.

The draft decision on the early release of the Speaker of the Parliament, Rosen Zhelyazkov, was submitted yesterday and signed by people’s representatives from “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” and from “BSP for Bulgaria”.

The rules of the National Assembly provide that the proposal for the early release of the chairman is put to a vote at the first meeting after the day of his admission, giving the person the right to be heard.
