The national team failed to qualify for the apparatus finals of the European Gymnastics Championship – Around the world and in our country

The Bulgarian athletes failed to qualify for the individual apparatus finals of the European Gymnastics Championship in the Italian city of Rimini.

Kevin Penev, who is 18th on floor, and Daniel Trifonov, with 19th position on vault, took the first place in the screenings. Only the top eight from each apparatus continue to compete for honors.

In floor gymnastics, Kevin Penev was rated with 13.900 points and is 18th. Daniel Trifonov remained 63rd with 13,266 points, Bozhidar Zlatanov is in 73rd position with 13,000 points, and Dimitar Dimitrov – 85th with 12,700 points.

Penev finished 43rd on pommel horse with a score of 13.166 points, Yordan Alexandrov was 90th with 12.033, Zlatanov was 96th and Trifonov was 119th.

On rings, Zlatanov is in 49th place with 13,166 points, Alexandrov is ranked 64th with 12,966 points, Penev – 104th, and Trifonov – 113th.

Daniel Trifonov ranked 19th on vault with 13,500 points, followed by Kevin Penev – 20th with 13,483 points, and Zlatanov and Dimitrov only made one vault each.

In parallel, Yordan Alexandrov took 28th position with 13,766 points, Zlatanov is 75th, Trifonov – 101st, and Penev – 109th.

Aleksandrov has the highest ranking on the gallows – 43rd place with a score of 13,266 points. Kevin Penev finished 66th, Zlatanov 67th and Trifonov 109th.

As a team, Bulgaria took 21st place with an asset of 231,027 points.

For the individual all-around, Bozhidar Zlatanov has 76.098 points and is in 53rd place, Kevin Penev is 54th with 75.898 points and Daniel Trifonov has collected 70.364 points in 73rd position.

On Thursday, April 25, the European championship continues with the youth qualifiers with the participation of Ioan Ivanov, David Ivanov, Georgi Stoyanov, Nicholas Nakov and Nasko Mikov.
