Victims of Nick and Aaron Carter speak out: New film exposes teen idols

--

The well-publicized abuse allegations against Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and his younger brother, the late Alan Carter, will culminate in a documentary series.

The upcoming production, which will air on Investigation Discovery (ID), features many of the women who have accused the Carter brothers of rape and sexual harassment.

The documentary series is titled Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter, and the crimes the victims accuse the famous teen idols of are set between 1990 and 2010.

“Nick seems like the perfect Ken doll, but I know how evil he can be,” says one of the women in the production.

Victims interviewed also said they went through a period of intense online harassment when they revealed they had been brutally assaulted by the Backstreet Boys star.

Many of the band’s fans lashed out at the victims as they suspected that their accounts were fabricated and smearing Nick Carter’s name to gain notoriety.

Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter also takes a serious look at the allegations against Aaron Carter.

The younger of the two brothers is presented as a talented but troubled teenager who began abusing various substances from an early age.

One of the episodes of the upcoming series also draws attention to the fact that in life Aaron Carter stands up to his older brother, revealing in a series of confessions on social networks that Nick is in fact a systematic rapist.

The documentary investigation delves into the family’s history, exposing the dysfunctional family environment in which the teen stars grew up.

The series has taken on the task of showing how the global fame of the Backstreet Boys of the 90s serves as a cover for Nick Carter’s criminal activities.

Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter is from the creators of On Set: The Dark Side of Children’s Television, which exposed the systemic sexual harassment of children on the Nickelodeon channel.

In the investigation of the crimes of the Carter brothers, the creators of the series managed to attract family members, including Nick Carter’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Jones and Aaron’s ex-fiancée Melanie Martin.

Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter airs May 27 on Investigation Discovery.
