On Thursday, we will witness the return of Rafael Nadal to one of his favorite tournaments – the one in Madrid. The five-time champion will take on Manolo Santana in the evening session, and his opponent will be world #1028 Darwin Blanch.
On the center court, we will also see Naomi Osaka and Cory Goff, who will face Lyudmila Samsonova and Arancha Rus, respectively, and in the last match of the day, Iga Shviontek will play Shiyu Wan.
At 12:00, Donna Vekic and Maria Sakari will open the Arancha Sanchez program, and in the second match on court #3, Jelena Ostapenko will face qualifier Jessica Buzas Maneiro, who eliminated Paula Badosa at the start.

Today there will be several matches with Bulgarian participation at the ITF level. In Antalya, fourth-seeded Yanaki Milev will play Matteo Lavidzari (#1335), and in the women’s round, Yulia Stamatova and Rositsa Dencheva will face Mari Vogt (#886) and Rinon Okuvaki (#843), respectively.
Meanwhile, Isabella Shinikova will face Maria Fernanda Gonzalez (#611) at the W35 tournament in Hammamet, while Lia Karatancheva will try to overcome Andrea Lazaro Garcia (#452) in the Round of 16 at the W35 event in Santa Margherita di Pula.
