It is gross hypocrisy and incomparable impudence for people who spit on their faces and on those of their supporters, participating in an unprincipled “assembly”, to now criticize and hate Elena Yoncheva, since DPS-Blagoevgrad are raising her candidacy for the European Parliament.
Elena is our colleague with proven qualities over the years, repeatedly awarded at home and abroad for her brilliant journalistic revelations and reports, with a lot of knowledge and skills, and no one can take that away from her under any circumstances. It is paradoxical and stupid that people who do not have half of her mental and intellectual capacity hate her.
I think only time can tell whether her decision to accept this nomination and run for the EP is right or wrong. But I also think that above all
one must be able to make decisions, because otherwise life will not move a step forward.
It makes a bad impression that the “television prosecutors” in the form of on-screen presenters bend and stomp to look for negative evaluations of Elena from any “talking heads” with unclear content in them.
However, I wonder who exactly are more suitable, more moral, more ideological, more educated than her to represent us in the EU Parliament!
I am not interested in arguments based only on unproven gossip and hearsay. The facts are important to me, not the interpretations of any and everyone’s statements in the style of “a woman in the market told me”.
Attention should not be paid to the hypocritical accusations by the Pishman Democrats against the DPS and against one of the co-chairmen of the movement, Mr. Delyan Peevski.
Because DPS is a stable systemic party, which over the years has never played against Bulgarian national interests in the EP and has never split, unlike any other organizations/except GERB/. Can anyone swear that the Falcon movement does not only bring together quality experts in various fields?
Who has the right to reject the will of the voters of this formation, who are hundreds of thousands of Bulgarian citizens?
The attitude of self-identified “democrats” towards Delyan Peevski is also pharisaical. Yesterday they forgot that he was sanctioned under Magnitsky /he is appealing this overseas decision/, but today they suddenly woke up with a memory of that and crooned the old song in a new voice! He was changed, a phenomenon and so on, while he supported them for their stupid amendments to the constitution, but today they no longer want to play with him, nor “drink greasy Turkish coffee and sit on his lap”! To be honest, the last 9 months he behaved much more manly than those who built a political career on his back.
One would say that these self-made public “prosecutors” have undergone a severe lobotomy!
That’s why they should be reminded of yesterday’s lunches and reheated regularly.
Ah, yes, Elena Yoncheva did not attend them. However, they insult her because the day before yesterday she was a representative from the civil quota of the BSP, and today she would be such a representative again, but from the DPS. The hysterical screams against her are as if she has betrayed her great love or her religion! But in order for there to be infidelity ahead, faith is needed.
As far as I know her, Elena Yoncheva has free, liberal and democratic views, but like any strong, bright individualist, she is not a member of any big organization. The rest, I think, is simply a change of workplace for a smart, intelligent and capable person, whom we will not be ashamed of in front of foreigners.
By the way, how many times have you changed jobs during the turbulent years of what we have and continues to call “democratic transition”?
