The national team of Bulgaria for volleyball players up to 18 years old learned its program for the European championship. The competition will be held from July 1 to 13 in Romania and Greece. Our team is in Group II, which will be played in the capital of the island of Crete – Heraklion.
The squad, led by coach Antonina Zetova, started against Germany on the opening day of the championship.
The start of the meeting is at 5:30 p.m. After that, we meet Turkey and Poland, who are ranked higher than us, in two consecutive days – on July 2 and 3. Next day off – July 4. We play against the host Greece in the penultimate match of the stream (July 8), and the program of the day includes the last match at 8:00 p.m.

16 teams are participating in the European Under-18 Championship, divided into two groups of 8. They will play according to the “each against each” system. The first place finishers in the stream qualify for the top 4. In the semi-finals, the teams from the two groups play cross-over (first vs. second).
In Group I, which will be held in the Romanian city of Blaz, there are Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium, Spain and the host Romania.
