Ludogorets is already thinking about the title on Sunday and the Bulgarian Cup final (VIDEO)

--

Ludogorets scattered Heber in the first semi-final for the Bulgarian Cup between the two teams. The “Undertakers” recorded their second heaviest loss of the 12-time champions (0:4) after the one in 2022 with 0:6. The key success was shaped by two goals each before and after the break.

Rick Jonathan decided the development of the meeting already in the first part with his goals in the 4th and 21st minutes. Todor Nedelev then provided a good assist with a cross from a corner for Almeida’s second goal of the spring (55′), and Spas Delev made the final 4-0 after Deberliev’s short clearance ten minutes before the end. In 89′, Terziev hit the crossbar.

Thus, to a great extent, Ludogorets guarantees the battle for the treble and will expect someone from CSKA and Botev Plovdiv (0:1) in the final (15.05.2024). The rematch between the “Armies” and the “Canaries” is scheduled for the first of May in Plovdiv, and the match in Pazardzhik a day later.

In the second half on Wednesday, Georgi Dermendzhiev replaced key players with a view to the upcoming championship match with Krumovgrad on Sunday, which you will be able to follow LIVE with SportLive.bg! If Ludogorets beats the rookie, he will surely win Bulgaria’s 13th consecutive title.

First half

GOAL! The hosts managed to open the scoring with the first dangerous situation created. His pass from the right flank led to a scramble in the penalty area, and Rick Jonathan’s shot into the bottom left corner opened the scoring in 4′ – 1:0!

GOAL! Georgi Dermendzhiev’s alumni had fun in front of the penalty area and the result was a two-goal deficit for the “undertakers”. Heber temporarily stopped the opponent in front of his penalty area, but Naresi deflected to Dua, who found Rick. The Brazilian fires into the far corner for 2:0!

In the six minutes after the second goal, at least two more could have fallen – one in each goal. First Diamanka was found with a low cross in a shooting position, but the African failed to find the outline of the goal from close range.

With a lightning counterattack, Piotrowski found himself in a shooting position, but his effort went wide of the left side post.

Second half-time

After the break, the “Eagles” launched more attacks, through which they would complete their work with more goals in Deborliev’s goal. At the end of five minutes, the “undertakers” were given the right to perform a static position in front of the penalty area, but Tsonkov’s attempt did not threaten Sluga’s goal.

GOAL! In 55′ Dinish Almeida scored the third goal against Deberliev. The defender pulled himself to the second post when Nedelev crossed from a corner. The defender intercepted the ball with his head and formed the classic 3:0!

GOAL! After 80′, the home team managed to increase to 4:0! It happened with Delev’s fourth goal of the season, which took advantage of a knockdown of the opposing guard.

In the last minute of regular time, Georgi Terziev hit the crossbar after heading the ball in from a corner kick.
