Bulgaria will play against Croatia and Turkey in their last matches of Euro 2024 in women’s under-20 volleyball – Around the world and in our country

Bulgaria will face favorites Croatia and Turkey in the final two matches of the European Women’s Under-20 Championship group stage.

Bulgaria is the co-host of the age group championship together with Ireland. Sofia and Hristo Botev Hall will host Group I matches between August 5 and 13. The final four will also be held in the capital, and the champion will be determined on August 17.

All matches of the young “lionesses”, except for the last match, will start at 17:30 (or the third match of the day’s program). The first match is against the Swedish team, who won their zonal qualification. The program includes two days off – August 8 and 11. The last clash is against the strong team of Turkey, who last year played in the final of the world championship for women under 19 years. The match is from 20:00.

August 6 at 17:30 against Belgium
August 7 at 17:30 against Spain
August 9 at 17:30 against Slovenia
August 10 at 17:30 against the Netherlands

Eurovolley 2024 for women under 20 (August 5-17) features 16 teams, which are divided into two groups of 8. In the first phase, they will play head-to-head. The first and second place finishers in the final standings move on. The two teams from the two groups play cross-over in the eliminations. In Group II are Serbia, Poland, Italy, Finland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Portugal and hosts Ireland.
