Will Rosen Zhelyazkov be removed from the post of Speaker of the National Assembly on the penultimate working day of this parliament? Earlier, the resignation of the Speaker of the Parliament was also requested by “Revival” with a specific reason – the point for the vote of no confidence in the official government was not allowed with the argument that it does not correspond to the Constitution.

“Revival” accused PP-DB and BSPwho submitted the request for the resignation of Rosen Zhelyazkov, that they have an agreement with GERB-SDS and therefore 8 deputies from PP-DB and 6 of BSP have not registered.
The leader of BSP Kornelia Ninova stated that they want the resignation of the Speaker of the Parliament because they are principled in wanting the rules of the National Assembly to be respected. They denied any interpretations that they had aligned positions with PP-DB or “Revival” having given their signatures in both resignation requests. Ninova commented that apparently “Vazrazhdane” did not collect enough signatures and therefore only the signature of PP-DB and BSP.
At the beginning of today’s parliamentary control, no quorum was present.
