Slight decrease in prices on European electricity exchanges for Thursday, April 25

The Romanian Energy Exchange OPCOM closed the Day Ahead segment at EUR 97.33/MWh for base energy. This is according to the data of the exchange for April 25, 2024. The price for peak energy is 92.66 EUR/MWh, and off-peak energy is 102.00 EUR/MWh. The highest price of 196.53 euros/MWh will be at 8 a.m. The lowest price will be at 4 p.m. and it will be 69.82 euros/Mwh. The traded volumes of base energy will be 62,351.0 MWh.

On the Greek energy exchange HENEX the average price for basic energy on April 25 will be EUR 80.56/MWh. The traded volumes will be 317,551.57 mwh. The maximum price will be 122.01 EUR/MWh and it will be at 21:00. The minimum price will be at 15:00 and it will be 42.54 EUR/MWh.

On the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX, the base energy price for April 25 is 91.51 euros/MWh. Peak energy will be traded for 86.58 euros/mwh. The highest price of 157.05 euros/mwh will be at 9 p.m. The lowest price will be at 3 p.m. and it will be 65.96 euros/mwh. The traded volumes will be 83,635.9 mwh.

The base price of electricity for April 25 on the Slovak Energy Exchange is EUR 91.65/MWh. The highest price of 157.05 euros/mwh will be at 9 p.m. The lowest price will be at 3 p.m. and it will be 65.63 euros/mwh.

The base price of electricity on the Czech Energy Exchange is EUR 91.27/MWh. The highest price of 152.29 euros/mwh will be at 9 p.m. The lowest price will be at 3 p.m. and it will be 66.23 euros/mwh.

On the Austrian Energy Exchange, the basic energy price for April 25 is 90.50 EUR/MWh. The peak price will be 85.89 euros/mwh. The traded volume at the base energy is 35,070.6 MWh. The highest price is expected to be at 9 p.m. and it will reach 152.29 euros/mwh. The lowest price will be at 3 p.m. and it will be 66.03 euros/mwh.

On the German Energy Exchange, the base energy price was 90.63 euros/MWh on April 25. The peak price will be EUR 85.86/MWh. The traded volumes at the base energy are 731,683.4 MWh. The highest price will be at 9 p.m. and it will reach 152.29 euros/mwh. The lowest price will be at 3 p.m. and it will be 66.41 euros/mwh.

On the Italian energy market, Day Ahead segment electricity for April 25 will sell for €96.21/MWh for base energy. It will also be the highest price for base energy on that day across Europe.
