The original agenda included 27 items. Among them are Adoption of an annual report for the year 2023 for monitoring the implementation of the Plan for Integrated Development of the Municipality of Smolyan for the period 2021-2027, Adoption of an Annual Report for the year 2023 on the implementation of the Program for the Reduction of Fine Dust Particle Levels /FPCH10/ and reaching the established norms for the quality of atmospheric air of the Municipality of Smolyan and the Action Plan for it for the period 2020-2025.
The councilors will also vote on the annual report for 2023. of the Municipal Environmental Protection Program of the Municipality of Smolyan for the period 2022-2028, as well as will accept for information the Annual Report for 2023 on the implementation of the Waste Management Program 2021-2028.
The mayors will also discuss the spending of the monthly guarantees and deductions for 2024 under Art. 60, para. 2, items 1 and 2 and Art. 64, para. 1 of the Law on Waste Management and the Updated Action Plan of the Municipality of Smolyan for Roma Integration for the period 2024-2027.
The size of the Annual Award of the Municipality of Smolyan for 2024 will be determined for prominent actors and creators in the fields of science, culture, education, technology and journalism on the occasion of May 24 – Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, enlightenment and culture and of Slavic literature.
At the meeting, the reports on the implemented community center activities and the funds spent from the budget in the Municipality of Smolyan in 2023 and other important issues for the residents of the Municipality of Smolyan will be discussed.
