Today, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (BCC) celebrates 44 years since its establishment on April 25, 1980. For these more than 4 decades, the BCC has established itself as one of the leading partners of the state in determining economic policy, maintaining its non-partisanship and being guided solely by the principles of national responsible behavior, competence and correctness.
BSK is among the founders of the social dialogue system in Bulgaria and is a nationally representative organization of employers, according to Art. 35 of the Labor Code.
The Chamber is the only Bulgarian business organization, a member of BUSINESS EUROPE – organization of European business of a confederal type, through which it represents the interests of Bulgarian companies and employers at the European level.
BSK actively participates in the work of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
BSK has signed contracts for cooperation with over 70 national employer and business organizations from the most developed countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa.
The main aspiration of BSK is to achieve a free, fair and compassionate societybased on a cult of work, education and the culture of human resources – the main engine of progress.
