The International Conference “Tools for Green Youth Work” and the International Youth Exchange, in which young people from Bulgaria, Norway, Portugal and Serbia participate, were opened today.
The conference was opened in the Ceremonial Hall of the Mining Directorate by the Deputy Mayor of Pernik Municipality Stefan Krastev and Natalia Miteva – Deputy Minister of Education and Science. The event was also attended by youth workers from the National Network of Youth Centers in the country, representatives of local educational and youth organizations and institutions.
For two days, European and national good practices will be presented and discussed in our city and how youth workers can adapt and apply them in their work.
The youth exchange started in the building of the International Youth Center, which will be opened at 15:00 today. It involves 54 young people from the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Serbia, Pernik, Montana, Vratsa, Stara Zagora and Dobrich, who are starting their work dedicated to green thinking and an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
