The case for the death of 15-year-old Filip Arsov, who was run over on a pedestrian path in September 2023 in Sofia, was postponed to May 23.

However, the person accused of the tragedy appeared in court, but remained silent in front of the journalists.

He is charged with causing death with intent, a felony that carries up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The procession in memory of Philip will start at any moment in front of the capital municipality.

The organizers have chosen this place because they want to express their protest against the figure of Blagovest Georgiev, bTV reported.

The municipal councilor from “Save Sofia” caused an accident, but then ran away and refused the alcohol and drug test.

Today, Georgiev was excluded from all committees in the parliament, and a little earlier, Philip’s parents were invited by luck Terziev and the chairman of the capital’s Municipal Council to a conversation on the subject with Georgiev.

They were told that they would demand that Georgiev resign after he returned from sick leave.

The procession in memory of Philip will end on Tsar Ivan Shishman Street to the place where the boy lost his life.
